Patrick Mason: Pressing Play
Pressing Play is the latest art exhibition by Southern California artist Patrick Mason. This exhibit premiers on Thursday 10/9 at Southwest College with an Artist talk at 12:00 noon. There is also a public reception on Saturday 10/11 at 12:00 noon. The gallery will be open to view his works from 10/09/25 - 11/4/25 at the SWC Gallery which is open M-Th 10:30 am - 2:30 pm.
Patrick Mason is a contemporary artist and adjunct professor living and working in
San Diego. He received his B.A. from the University California Santa Cruz, and
his M.F.A. from California State University Fullerton; where he was nominated for
the Dedalus Foundation Grant. He is one of the founding members of Riveted
Collective, a group of artists promoting art in “gorilla” spaces bringing fine artists
and local communities together. Primarily working in the medium of oil painting,
Patrick Mason has shown work throughout Southern California, Orange County
and Los Angeles including but not limited to: the CSUF gallery and Chancellor's
House, SWC gallery, Studio 11 and Da Art Center in Los Angeles. He continues to
teach studio art throughout San Diego County.
