Universal Spirit Center has been selected to receive the International Judy & Dennis Shepard Family Values Award in recognition of its production of The Laramie Project, a theatrical work that honors compassion, dialogue, and the ongoing pursuit of dignity and inclusion for all.
The award will be formally presented by Nicole Murray Ramirez, San Diego City/County Commissioner and LGBTQ+ civil rights advocate.
