Mission Bay Holiday Boat Parade of Lights
Discover Mission Bay and the Mission Bay Yacht Club are teaming up again for this San Diego-style annual tradition.
This celebration on Mission Bay starts with SeaWorld’s fireworks at 5:30 p.m., launching the parade of elaborately decorated boats that will travel clockwise around the Bay for an hour of holiday magic.
Locals, hotel guests and visitors are invited to celebrate at free designated spectator viewing areas offering special festive food and beverage menus and family-friendly activities to get into the holiday spirit. Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa, The Dana on Mission Bay, and Paradise Point Resort (Tidal Restaurant) will feature live music, bonfires and s’mores, holiday games and even a special visit by Santa – plus giveaways and raffles for spectators.
For holiday fun all weekend long, book a stay on the Bay at one of the six Discover Mission Bay resorts and get a jump on holiday cheer at SeaWorld San Diego’s Christmas Celebration. Mission Bay Beach Club will host a Daytime Holiday Market to make it a full Saturday of activities.
