Christmas time looks and feels different for the less fortunate and one group of car enthusiast, The Corvette Community - a collection of local Corvette enthusiasts with a heart for the homeless – want to ensure unhoused children at Father Joe’s Villages experience the joy of Christmas with gifts from caring contributors.
This year will continue their outreach by hosting the fifth toy drive near the former Claim Jumper Restaurant, in the Grossmont Shopping Center. Interested community donors are asked to drop off new, unopened toys in the parking lot in the morning.
The donation will be delivered to Father Joe’s Village by a team of Corvette drivers to the delight of unhoused children residing there during the holiday season.
