The Athenaeum’s jazz program returns with a four-concert series this fall, including two performances at the Auditorium at the Scripps Research Institute. The series features internationally acclaimed artists and Athenaeum favorites. The series opens at this venue on Wednesday, October 29, with an Athenaeum debut by the Kris Davis Trio, featuring Davis on piano, Robert Hurst on bass, and Johnathan Blake on drums. The fall series concludes at this venue on Friday, December 5, with Matt Wilson’s Christmas Tree-O. Events on November 9 and 19 take place at the Auditorium at the Scripps Research Institute.
