May 6: Magnetic Fields in the Cosmos The Earth is not the only celestial object with a magnetic field. Magnetic fields can be found on some other planets and moons. Our sun has a magnetic field, which leads to a phenomenon known as space weather. And the strongest magnetic fields in the universe are found in the remnants of dead stars. Tonight, we will learn more about magnetic fields in the cosmos. This will be a zoom webinar presentation, which will allow for audience engagement through Q&A.
