PETA President Ingrid Newkirk will bring her new speaking tour—based on her new book, Animalkind—to the San Diego area. Written in collaboration with bestselling Forks Over Knives author Gene Stone, the book explores the richness of animals' multifaceted lives and inspires readers to take action to protect and preserve them. During her talk, Newkirk will share some of the insights from Animalkind, including an exploration of animal communication and the ways animals navigate their environments, the many ways our modern world is leaving animal exploitation in the dust, and easy steps that we can all take to help make the world a kinder place. Ticket prices include a copy of Newkirk's new book.
