Do you have a heart for adventure? Think you could survive if you were to find yourself in the wild? We have a fun, in-depth, and informative day planned to prepare you for such a time as this. Shelter Making: Learn how to build a debris hut and discuss the art of survival Purifying Water: We will talk about different water purification techniques while setting up a solar still Wild Plants: Identify and use several plants for survival, including cordage and finding food Fire Making: Set up a survival campfire and practice primitive fire making techniques. Due to the teaching elements and lecture time involved in this workshop, this event is best suited for people at least 12 years old.
