Train Song Festival

The annual Train Song Festival, in Old Poway Park, is a time to celebrate and remember when the railroads interconnected our country and entered our musical culture. In addition to the music, the Poway Midland railroad will be offering rides around the park behind their restored 1907 Baldwin steam locomotive. All the concerts will be held on the gazebo stage. The scheduled list of performers includes: 11 am Nena Anderson – Blues-tinged Americana 12 noon The Swamp Critters – Cajun and zydeco 1 pm Kevin Roth – Mountain dulcimer 2 pm Judy Taylor – Country, swing, bluegrass, old time, folk, boogie-woogie, and more 3 pm Prairie Sky – Bluegrass 4 pm Clay Colton Duo – Rock, Americana, and Irish country
