European Art & Culture: Strindberg Meets Kafka
506 21st Street, San Diego, 92102
Cost: Free - $10
Bridge builder between cultures, SDSU Professor Emerita Ann-Charlotte Harvey will help us explore the art connection between the father of modern theater, the Swedish playwright August Strindberg and the metaphorical worldview of Franz Kafka. Following her talk, a short playlet will be performed for us by professional actors together with selected readings from Strindberg. Home-baked refreshments, coffee, tea and wine will be served.
