Classics Philharmonic: Patterns in Music
868 Fourth Avenue, San Diego, 92101
Cost: $7
Patterns in Music
Join our musicians and the Hutchins Consort in a concert all about patterns. With music from a variety of genres students learn about patterns in beat, rhythm, and form and see how patterns play a role in many other subjects like mathematics, language arts, and science! We are also excited to have students from Crown Point Junior Music Academy and their music teacher Stephen Luchs performing alongside Classics Philharmonic Orchestra on a special selection. Women’s History Month bonus: learn about historic American Carleen Hutchins, the string instrument maker who created the Hutchins Consort viols.
