Born in Iquique Chile, Miramar College English professor Adrián Arancibia is a founder of the seminal Chicano/Latino performance poetry collective Taco Shop Poets, and co-editor of their well-known "Chorizo Tonguefire" anthology. He is a regional editor of the San Diego Poetry Annual, and has authored several collections of poetry, including his "Atacama Poems", and will be reading from his latest book titled "Poems of Exhaustion" (Parentheses Press). An open reading follows Adrián after a short intermission; light fare and refreshments are provided.
