LA poet Suzanne O’Connell drives down to read from her brand new Garden Oak Press collection of poems entitled 'What Luck'. Recently published work can be found in North American Review, Alembic and 10 or so other journals. Nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize, her first poetry collection is “A Prayer For Torn Stockings,” (Garden Oak Press, 2016). Garden Oak Press founder William Harry Harding opens the afternoon with a short program of his own. As always, an open reading for everyone present follows in the second hour, after a short intermission with light refreshments served.
