The Lemon Grove Historical Society presents a new exhibit designed and built by Girl Scout Troop 5255, tracing the growth of the Girl Scout movement in San Diego County. Alice Day Fisher, a Lemon Grove resident, was key to launching the Girl Scouts in 1918 and served as its first commissioner. Original artifacts and uniforms through the decades (including one by Bill Blass), cookies through the years, an entire camping set-up, photographs, awards and more comprise the colorful, fact-packed exhibit.
