Join us for an evening of cheese and vino as Cathryn Henning and Damiana Calvario incorporate herbs into one of our favorite foods, cheese! In this fun and informative experience, you'll be learning the basics of making fresh cheese with both starter cultures and an acid coagulant while learning the simplicity of bringing herbalism into our everyday nutrition. In this two hour hands-on class we will both sample and learn the techniques behind herbal infused vinegar and chèvre cheese from goat milk, made with farm fresh herbs. Students will take home a pint of herbal vinegar to continue enjoying the art of cheese making in your everyday cooking. All materials provided, plus refreshments. Non-refundable.
