Alyze Dreiling & Magdolna Bornemisza
Alyze Dreiling and Magdolna Bornemisza, two of this area's most renowned Masters of Music, will present their premier classical chamber concert at 6:15 pm Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Rancho Bernardo Library. The duo will perform works by Mozart, Saint-Saens and Schubert. It features the Mozart Violin Sonata K. 454 in B B major, Schubert Arpeggione Sonata for Viola and Piano D. D. 821, Saint-Saens Violin Sonata No. 1 in d minor, Op. 75. Alyze is an award-winning conductor, and accomplished violinist and violist in San Diego. In addition to serving as the YPO Soloists Ensemble Artistic Director and Conductor, she is adjunct faculty at Grossmont Colllege, University of San Diego and USD Chamber Music Festival. Magdolna is a well known music teacher in the San Diego area and is an experienced performer as a soloist and collaborative pianist, a church musician and choir leader. She also was a board member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California and served on the Executive Board of The Musical Merit Foundation of Greater San Diego.
