Rhys Bowen and Charlaine Harris
Partners in Crime, the San Diego Chapter of Sisters in Crime, is pleased to welcome New York Times best-selling authors Rhys Bowen and Charlaine Harris at their next meeting. An afternoon tea with Southern sweet tea will be served in their honor.
Bowen has received acclaim and recognition for her historical content and suspenseful storytelling for her short stories and her novels. Her Royal Spyness, Lady Victoria Georgiana Charlotte Eugenie, thirty-somthingth in line for the throne, is not only dealing with preparations for her July 1935 wedding to Darcy O’Mara, but also a murder mystery in which the butler definitively did not do it, as he was the victim, in this summer’s Four Funerals and Maybe a Wedding.
Harris is the New York Times bestselling author of the well-known Sookie Stackhouse and Midnight Texas series, both which have also enjoyed lives as fan-favorite television programs. Sisters in Crime is a national organization with local chapters which supports mystery and crime writers and promotes reading the genre. We are authors, readers, publishers, agents, booksellers and librarians bound by our affection for the mystery genre and our support of women who write mysteries. We are open for everyone's participation.
