Port of San Diego Maritime Month Boat Tour 2
BOAT TOUR: Join us as we celebrate Maritime Month with free boat and bus tours of the waterfront! You’ll learn about the maritime industry and experience the Port of San Diego’s cargo terminals and waterfront highlights on your 1 hour 45 minutes tour. All tours are on the Admiral Hornblower. We'll be boarding at Hornblower Cruises in-between the Broadway Pier and the Navy Pier. Look for the signs. Tour highlights include: • The west coast’s only shipbuilding and repair yards • The Port’s two marine cargo terminals o Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal – specializing in bananas, wind energy components and other commodities. o National City Marine Terminal – specializing in automobiles in lumber. Notes: • One guest is permitted per respondent for boat tours, for a total of two (2). You must be 18+ to register, and guests must be ages 8 and up. Only one child allowed per registered adult. • Tours have limited seating and will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. Space is limited so all guests must register in advance and bring their printed confirmation with them on the day of the tour. • Boat tours depart from Hornblower Cruises, 970 N. Harbor Drive, San Diego (between Broadway Pier and Navy Pier where the USS Midway is berthed.) • Check-in will begin 30 minutes prior to departure. For the morning tour, boarding begins at 10:15 a.m. Departure is at 10:45 a.m. and disembarking is at 12:30 p.m. For the afternoon tour, boarding begins at 12:45 p.m., departure is at 1:15 p.m. and disembarking is at 3 p.m. • We recommend public transportation as part of our commitment to sustainability. • All tours are handicap accessible.
