Seaport Village welcomes “strange and extraordinary acts” from around the world to its 12th-annual Busker Festival. The celebration brings colorful street performers — from jugglers on unicycles to stilt walkers, contortionists, and acrobalancers — to Seaport Village. From noon to 6 p.m., the cobblestone streets will be transformed into various stages for the buskers to compete for the People’s Choice Award.

Popular across the globe, buskers are public street performers known for their unusual and fascinating acts. The Seaport Village Spring Busker Festival is the only festival of its kind in California and one of only a few in the U.S. While hundreds of performers from across the world apply, only eight to ten acts are selected each year.

Come nightfall, performers also let loose for Buskers After Dark on Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. Catered toward the 18+ crowd, this untamed show will also feature a live DJ, food and drink specials, and adult humor.
