The 2018 Horizon Beer Fest series will be a seamless blend of relaxation, good beats by world renowned artists RAC, beer tastings of over 40+ craft beers from dozens of breweries, and partying together with the vibrant surroundings of the San Diego bay on Saturday, June 16th, 2018. This event is benefiting the Urban Angels “Nourishing Those in Need”, a non-profit dedicated to helping feed the homeless. Take our hand and step into the horizon with us for an afternoon of dancing beneath the bright sky. This event is strictly 21+. Acclaimed artist RAC (pronounced R-A-Cee),—known as Andre Allen Anjos—releases the first single, “This Song” off his highly anticipated new album out this summer via Counter Records. The track features vocals from songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist ROSTAM, formerly of Vampire Weekend, who has collaborated with Solange, Frank Ocean, Hamilton Leithauser, RA RA Riot and more. Most recently, Anjos won a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording of Bob Moses’ “Tearing Me Up,” making him the first Portuguese artist to win a Grammy. RAC began releasing original content with his first song “Hollywood” via Green Label Sound in 2012. Anjos quickly proved himself as a songwriter with his debut album Strangers (2014), which contains the singles “Let Go,” featuring Bloc Party’s Kele & MNDR and “Cheap Sunglasses” featuring Matthew Koma. Anjos has made major festival appearances at Coachella, Electric Zoo, Bumbershoot and Lollapalooza. GA tickets start at $20.
