Armenian genocide scholar Professor Taner Akçam of Clark University speaks about his recent discovery, published in the New York Times in April 2016, of archival documents which demonstrate the Ottoman government’s awareness and involvement in the elimination of its minority Armenian population in the Ottoman Empire (modern Turkey). Dr. Akçam’s talk will be the first time these documents have been discussed in a public setting. Refreshments provided.
