Ramona, California – The Ramona Valley Vineyard Association presents Meet the Winemaker Weekend, taking place at 10 local Ramona wineries on April 7th, 2018 and April 8th, 2018, and featuring a behind the scene taste, tour and exclusive meeting with the winery owners and winemakers. Explore the natural beauty of Ramona, indulge in sublime tasting experiences and memorable personal encounters with the valleys most devoted and individualistic winemakers at their picturesque tasting rooms, barns, patios and vineyards. Join fellow wine devotes at the RVVA inaugural Meet the Winemakers Weekend event in the beautiful Valley of the Sun Ramona. Spend the weekend discovering local wineries, sampling wines at a great discount, enjoying local cuisine and mingling with the winemakers. Make a weekend of this exclusive event and learn in depth information about the wine making process from soil to barrel to bottle to glass. VIP 2 Day ticket price is $50.00 per person and includes 5 wineries, boxed lunch provided by Something Delicious Catering on Saturday, VIP tours of 10 wineries over 2 days, happy hour with the winemakers at Reds, Whites, and Brews Saturday evening which includes one drink ticket for happy hour. Saturday at Red, Whites and Brews special guest John York, artisan wine purveyor, author, rancher and believer in the traditional hands-on approach to wine crafting will share with you his vast knowledge of the art of wine making and the Ramona Valley boutique wine industry. Also available for your dining pleasure a local food truck (not included with ticket price). Sunday includes 5 wineries, boxed lunch, and a Continental Breakfast at Ramona Family Naturals.
