Join us for a short hike as we discover the vast variety of plants the Kumeyaay Indians used for: • Food • Medicine • Shelter • Cordage • Soap • Fire • Navigation • Water This 2.5-hour hike will provide a solid foundation for those wanting to become better acquainted with our local plants. We'll also stop for a brief demonstration & practice making cordage/string from local plant fibers. What to Bring: • Comfortable shoes • Water • Notebook & Camera • Sunscreen
