History Talks! The Spy in the Attic
The next installment of the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton’s History Talks! lecture series explores a little known story of San Diego espionage. GQHF Historian, Sandee Wilhoit, will share her research into a part of Davis-Horton House history, when a German spy set up operations in the attic. German officer Karl Offer used the attics vantage point to watch and report on the movement of the American Pacific Fleet in San Diego Bay.
