Curbside does a physically theatrical reimaginaton of the Antoine de Saint-Exupery's 1943 novella, The Little Prince. The piece begins with the crashing of a plane. The three person cast play a prince, a pilot, and a cactus, and tell their story acrobatically. The humor throughout is gentle, inventive movements abound, and the musical accompaniment's so soft, the show goes by fast and seems as if the viewers were in a dream. Nothing is quite like this piece in this year's Fringe. Grandparents and grandchildren will share one thing in common after seeing the Long Beach troupe's performance: a grand time. A Must.
