Summer C.A.M.P. (Contemporary Art, Media, & Process) invites children 6 to 14 to explore contemporary art through a series of weeklong, age-appropriate art-making workshops designed to encourage artistic expression, art appreciation, and imagination. Campers will discover out-of-the-ordinary materials and learn about artists’ processes as they explore the exhibitions on view.
Each week-long session culminates with a showcase and celebration of the camper’s artwork. This year includes neighborhood explorations of public art and site-specific installations. Monday, July 31 through Friday, August 4.
