YPO Summer Festival Orchestra
This concert is the third of the new YPO Festival Orchestra series directed by Alyze Dreiling, Artistic Director and Conductor. The orchestra will feature the Beethoven Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in G major, op 58, by prize-winning concert pianist Bryan Verhoye. It will also present the Mozart Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat major, K364, by soloists Harold Reeves (violin) and Paul Wang (viola). Finishing off the concert is the Beethoven Symphony No.2. Suggested donation of $15 per concert. The Festival Orchestra is a summer music program of the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (YPO). The YPO is dedicated to enhancing the musical, social and intellectual growth of young musicians of all ethnic, cultural and economic backgrounds, through inspired instruction, dynamic ensemble rehearsals and exceptional performances.
