SD Fringe Festival: Untold
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." These words of anthropologist Margaret Mead eloquently describe Blindspot Collective's world premiere work, Untold: A verbatim play." The gripping piece is based on actual conversations with therapists, people experiencing addiction, and battling PTSD, as it explores the mental health crisis in America. That 46% of our population will struggle with mental illness at some point in their lives is vividly clarified by Russell Clements and Kayla Morales. They head a dedicated cast of ten. Directed by Blake McCarty and Catherine Hanna Schrock, Untold reveals the bravery and resiliency of the lives expoxed in this raw piece of theater. A Must.
