Comics: Antimatter and the Space Between
1955 Julian Avenue, San Diego, 92113
Cost: Free
Comics occupy a fringe space or edge-land, existing between high and low brow, image and text, and the individually or collectively created. This (in) between space affords comics the possibility of experimentation while simultaneously allowing the art form to consolidate itself as the seed bank of corporate entertainment. Join us in a border-crossing, genre-hopping talk with authors Charles Glaubitz and Pepe Rojo, part of the Second Saturday/Barrio Art Crawl in Logan. The gallery featuring Darkstar, a solo show by Charles Glaubitz, will be open from 5-9pm.
