Farm to Bay
A tasting event with food and drink from over 40 restaurants, farms, breweries, wineries, and distilleries plus musical performances on multiple stages, live and silent auctions, and up-close animal encounters with the Living Coast Discovery Center’s animal ambassadors (including sea turtles, sharks, hawks, eagles, and owls).
This year sushi-chef Jeff Roberto has joined as culinary chair. Restaurants include Matua’s Sushi Bar & Islander Grill, Rolled Up, Eclipse Chocolate Bar & Bistro, and Loews Coronado Bay Resort. A number of local farms, grocers, and specialty purveyors will contribute samples.
The eighth-annual soirée supports coastal wildlife, education, and sustainability programs at the Living Coast, a nonprofit zoo and aquarium on a National Wildlife Refuge at San Diego Bay.
