Grossmont College Latino Film Festival
As part of Latino Heritage Month, Grossmont College presents a Latino Film Festival with free, public screenings of films that explore Latino/a culture and history at 7 p.m. every Tuesday evening, September 20 to October 11, in Room 26-220. Latino Film Festival programming is coordinated by the Latin@ Alliance at Grossmont College.
Tuesday, September 20: The Motorcycle Diaries (2004). Directed by Walter Salles, rated R. Host: Dr. Carlos Contreras, Grossmont College History Professor.
Tuesday, September 27: Wild Tales (2014). Directed by Damián Szifron's, rated R. Host: Raymundo Quezada, Grossmont College Cross Cultural Studies instructor.
Tuesday, October 4: Pelo Malo (2013). Directed by Mariana Rondón, unrated. Host: Samantha Prado, Grossmont College Sociology instructor.
Tuesday, October 11: Pan's Labyrinth (2006). Directed by Guillermo del Toro, rated R. Host: Monica Hernandez, Grossmont College Cross Cultural Studies instructor.
