Are you an avid citizen scientist or a curious observer interested in exploring scientific ideas in depth? In this interactive workshop we will use online databases to follow a popular science report back to the original data. Along the way we will learn about the different types of scientific manuscripts, how to find and read primary scientific sources, and discuss some of the issues related to academic publishing. Appropriate for high school students and adults. You may want to bring a laptop to following along, and we have a limited number of laptops for participants to borrow.
