Maddalena Wine Dinner
Bice will welcome Arnaud Debons, winemaker for San Antonio Winery, for a dinner featuring acclaimed wines and a paired menu by chefs Francesca Penoncelli and Mario Cassineri.
The San Antonio Winery is the last remaining winery in Downtown Los Angeles, a hidden gem and historical landmark operating in the same community where it was founded over 99 years ago. The evening will begin with a toast with Diama, Prosecco, Veneto, Italy. For the first course guests will enjoy Baja California prawn with almond purée, lavender, fennel, and orange salad paired with 2014 Maddalena, Pinot Grigio, Monterey, California. The main course will be pork tenderloin served over merlot risotto and dried fruit paired with 2011 San Simeon, merlot, Paso Robles, California. The third course features tastes from the cheese bar paired with 2010 Opaque, Malbec, Paso Robles, California.
