Fall Back Festival
An adventure back to the 1880s, with three blocks of the Gaslamp Quarter converted into a frontier Western town.
Stroll through the time-warped streets filled with traditional Western storefronts, museums, a Sarsaparilla Saloon, a penny candy store, a town jail, and live historical recreations. Climb aboard an old-fashioned hay ride, pan for gold, saddle up for a pony ride, and check out the Wild West Show. Get the kids involved with activities such as gold panning, butter churning, and candle dipping. With vintage cars, arts and crafts, caricatures, face painting, two stages of live entertainment, and an old-fashioned carnival alley.
Produced by the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation to support their mission of preserving the history and culture of the Gaslamp Quarter and provide a living history of San Diego. Admission is free; small fee for some of the activities. Info: 619-233-4692.
