Artists for Ayotzinapa
Forty three San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, East Coast, a Mexicali artists created 43 visual statements of solidarity for the missing students of Ayotzinapa for the second time in the art district of historic Barrio Logan, home of Chicano Park.
Each artist was given a photo and name of a student to represent with honor and support. We want every student's name and story remembered to keep the movement alive and continue the search for our sons as a fundraiser for the families. Additional painting donations that depict the overall pain of Ayotzinapa will be shown with some of the original pieces from the first show.
Mesheeka ClothingCompany will donate a portion of all sales to the families, and Bob Green of the Roots Factory will be live screen printing their original logo for ayotzinapa for a donation if you bring a black shirt. Border X Brewing will be contributing to the fundraiser for the families as well.
Music by Angel Lita, Cumbia Machin, and Olmeca Roots.
