Authors' Salon: Writing a Series
5205 Avenida Encinas, Suite A, Carlsbad, 92008
Cost: $15 - $20
Richard Fitchen is the author of a five-book historical fiction series spanning 1754 to the present. He was a firefighter and National Guardsman before teaching at the University of Washington and the University of California, worked as a social sciences bibliographer in Yale University’s Libraries, and retired as bibliographer and head of the reference department at the Stanford University Libraries.
Linda Scott, Ed.D., founder of eFrog Press, will facilitate the panel discussion, posing questions about the content of their books, the challenges faced by authors, and what is involved in writing a series.
