Summer Evening Walks at San Elijo Lagoon
See what comes out when the sun goes down at San Elijo Lagoon. This is “nature’s happy hour.”
With approaching dusk and sage-scented breezes, night becomes day for some animals. You may glimpse a family of mule deer grazing in the reeds. See lizards soaking up the last bit of sun or shrieking hawks above. Recommended for ages nine and up.
Note: This event does not meet at the Nature Center. Meet at Santa Carina Trail (directions online).
- When: Wednesday, July 15, 2015, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
