LIFE at MiraCosta College Lectures
1 pm: “MCC Production: The Drowsy Chaperone” with Tracy Williams, MCC faculty. The Drowsy Chaperone is a parody of American musical comedies of the 1920s. The show debuted in 1998 in Toronto and was nominated for multiple theater awards, winning five Tonys. In the story a man in a chair plays records of his favorite musical and the show comes to life as he comments on the music, story, and actors.
2:30 pm: “Felix’s BBQ Restaurant: From Alabama to Oceanside” with Felix Berry, restaurateur. Felix Berry is a purveyor of the Delectable Soul Food Experience. He will entertain us with this entrepreneurial journey.
