The cultural center of 19th Century Europe and one of the world capitals of music today, Vienna was the work place of many of our greatest classical composers. From the golden era of Romantic music, this performance features chamber works by Beethoven, Schubert, and Brahms. The evening’s highlight is Brahms’ String Sextet in B-flat Major played by Cho-Liang Lin and Kyoko Takezawa, violins, Toby Hoffman and Heiirchiro Ohyama, violas, and Gary Hoffman and Joshua Roman, cellos.
