"Revolution, Counter-Revolution, and Intervention: Understanding the Roots and Rise of Sectarian Conflict in the Arab World and the Role of U.S. Intervention" is presented by Ibrahim Al-Marashi, Associate Professor of History Cal State University, San Marcos.
Prof. Al-Marashi specializes in modern Iraq. He received his PhD from Oxford University and publishes frequently on Al Jazeera on issues related to Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and U.S. policy. His recent work is on etho-sectarian violence. In the Santa Fe Room.
