Culinary Historians of San Diego presents "How Prohibition Changed America" featuring author, food historian, and lecturer Richard Fosso on the 9th floor Shiley Event Suite of the San Diego Central Library.
Richard Foss has been a food journalist since 1986 and has taught food and beverage history classes and lectured widely. He is the California Curator for the Museum of the American Cocktail and a Board Member of the Culinary Historians of Southern California (L.A. area).
Foss has contributed to the Encyclopedia of World Food Cultures and the Oxford Companion to Sweets and is the author of Rum: A Global History.
