The Engagement Ring: Series 1
Malashock Dance invites you to Dance Place San Diego to be a part of the creative process. The Engagement Ring Series will provide Southern California dance artists the opportunity to create unique audience-inclusive events, share their work in an interactive fashion, and deepen the relationship between dance artists and audiences.
Series 1, “happiness: an experiment,” is directed by Sadie Weinberg in collaboration with Heather Glabe and April Tra. happiness: an experiment is a work that is present in the moment. It is a dance about making the moment we are in joyful, full, and poignant. It is unpredictable, playful, and interactive. It is both choreographed and improvised and it asks of the audience to be ready to be included in the work.
