Auditions for the new musical Rope, a staged reading based on historical fact.
Be prepared to sing a song of your choice. Bring your own CD backing track. We will not have an accompanist. There will also be cold readings from sides provided at the audition. There will be limited rehearsals and approximately four days of rehearsals/workshop. Stipends provided.

Synopsis: The year is 1895. The location is Summit City, a town in Arizona. A public execution is scheduled for one o’clock on a Saturday afternoon in June. A gallows has been constructed. Deputy U.S. Marshall William Maledon will hang Henry Carpenter, a convicted murderer.
