Diane Kane, architectural historian, will be speaking to Friends of San Diego Architecture about "International Crossroads: From Cube Houses to Streamline Moderne."
FSDA continues its second year of celebrating the Panama-California Exposition 1915 by discussing its influence on domestic architecture, creating styles that spread to other areas of the nation. Dr. Kane has taught 19th- and 20th-century architectural and urban planning in many of Southern California universities and is a Trustee and Vice-President of Programs for the California Preservation Foundation.
Students are free.
