Inside the Exhibition: Ansel Adams
1649 El Prado, San Diego, 92101
Cost: Free - $8
In the genre of landscape photography, no artist is more well known and influential than Ansel Adams, especially his images of America’s National Parks.
Join us for a discussion about Adams’ legacy in this iconic landscape and the contemporary photographers featured in After Ansel Adams who are realizing their own visions in these places.
Led by MOPA’s assistant curator Chantel Paul and Rebecca Senf -- Norton Family curator of photography at the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, where Adams’ archive is housed -- this promises to be an intimate look into the history and present state of landscape photography.
