Morgan Heritage and Tarrus Riley
Morgan Heritage is a reggae band formed in 1994 by five children of reggae artist Denroy Morgan in celebration of their father's music and rastafarian/roots reggae tradition. After five years working on solo projects, the “Royal Family of Reggae” has reunited and is back on stage.
Tarrus Riley was born in Bronx, New York and raised in Jamaica. His father is veteran reggae singer Jimmy Riley. Tarrus is the holder of Jamaica's CVM TV's 15th Anniversary Award, held in February 2009, for the ‘Most Admired Song in the Past 15 Years’ for the hit, "She’s Royal".
Born in Kingston, Saxophonist Dean Fraser is recognized as one of Jamaica’s top musicians. He was a member of the Sonny Bradshaw Band, founding member of the 809 Band, which also included guitarist Lebert ‘Gibby’ Morrison and Desi Young, and Lloyd Parks’ We The People band. He was part of the touring band for Luciano in recent years, and currently tours with Tarrus Riley, as well as producing some of Riley’s recorded music.
