Creating Solo Performance Through Improvisation

In this workshop you will experiment with improvisation as a means to create solo performance.
Participants will discuss ideas with the group and then be prompted with different improv exercises that can be crafted into written show material.
Carla Cackowski has written and performed four solo shows that toured the Los Angeles theater circuit. Her most recent work, Sweatlodged, had a sold-out run in West L.A. at VS Theater and was an official selection of both the 2013 United Solo Fest in New York City and the 2014 L.A. Scripted Comedy Festival.
