Culinary Historians of San Diego will present "From Baja with Love," featuring chef Deb Schneider.
Schneider will address the healthy, flavorful food she discovered at small street and beach stands during surf trip down the Peninsula after cooking on private yachts in Greece and Florida.
Dubbed by Bon Appetit Magazine as "the reigning queen of San Diego chefs," chef Schneider is the author of five cookbooks and is executive chef/partner in SOL Cocina, Newport Beach and Scottsdale, and solita in Huntington Beach. Her second book, Cooking with the Seasons at Rancho La Puerta, was nominated for a James Beard Foundation Award.
The event is free and open to the public. On the 9th Floor Special Event Suite.
