A Texas dance is planned for Saturday night, with Hot Club of Cowtown performing, and the event also features children’s activities, camping, vendor booths, and a varietyof food. “We have numerous changes and new events planned for this year,” says Rob Lewallen, event co-chair. “We will have an encampment area that celebrates the Old West, complete with mountain men, Civil War era soldiers, cowboys, and others, temporarily living in their camps at Ramona. It will be a great way to learn about history.” Other new activities include music workshops allowing both kids and adults to learn from the individual band member’s skills such as playing fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin and singing harmony.
