A documentary set in a metropolitan Rotterdam suburb, where the street is dominated by street kids. Daily life focuses around a snack bar, run by an older gentleman named Turk Ali, which serves as a refuge for the local Moroccan youth, teenage boys who have nothing better to do than hang around. For these boys, Ali is an old and trusted Turkish uncle who is understanding and has a sense of humor, but is also strict. But will life like this continue? Turk Ali has a family to support and problems of his own and some of the youth want out of this lifestyle.
